‘Sorrows of the Crown’ is collection of poems that revolve around the sorrows, intensity, emptiness
and hopelessness in Romance. The poet further focuses on longing in Romance, losing oneself in
romance, getting ruined in Romance and finally speaks about lifelessness in Romance.
Scattered though the poems of this volume there are thoughts that take you to the depths of sorrow
and also those that speak of hope and reunion. Many of the poems echo the cries of the heart and
eventually there is a ray of hope clearly brought out in the last poem.
